We did have a wonderful time at the resort in San Jose Los Cabos. The resort was beautiful and the food was excellent. It may have been the best food that we have had with an "all inclusive" choice. I need to add that we don't have a great deal of experience with "all inclusive" but it was very good food. We found the resort to be very clean and well groomed. We liked some of the entertainment that they provided and the staff was exceptional. We did experience a little delay in our check in procedure once we arrived at the resort, but so did a few others that were waiting to get settled in their rooms. The only disappointment we had with the resort was the lack of ability to get into the ocean water, but after we saw the current and the height of the waves, we understood the danger. The beach was pretty and does make for a nice walk.
We went on an excursion to the town of Los Cabos to see the famous natural arches and explore the town of Los Cabos. It was called "Land and Sea". The price was $60 a person, so about $120 for us both. We thought the guide was very good, bi-lingual, and we really enjoyed the 45 minute glass bottom boat trip out to see the natural arches. This particular town tour of the excursion was not very good. They took us to 2 or 3 specific businesses that they had hand-picked and we felt a bit "trapped" because we thought we were going to be given the privilege of roaming around the town and doing our own exploring for a period of time. That part of the excursion was a bit disappointing, but we did have free time for lunch and we did eat at "The Office". :)
We felt, over all, it was excellent value and the beauty of the area was just amazing!

Hi Kim. We had a GREAT time at the Secrets resort in Puerto Los Cabos. We would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Our favorite things were:
The beautiful grounds (they were meticulous!!!) The nice staff The Barracuda bar down near the beach (the staff were fun and the view was GREAT!! That was our happy hour spot EVERY day!!) The variety of restaurants to choose from The yoga class out in the gazebo every morning The “almost private” pool near the Oceana restaurant. It was like a secret, and so quiet/relaxing compared to the LOUD party pool near the barefoot bar and restaurants The delicious shrimp quesadilla’s made fresh while you waited (Barefoot? …. I think was the name of it) The super-sized JENGA game out on the lawn
I’ll send you a few pictures here shortly. We did not go off site and do any excursions. Just stayed there and had fun. Thanks Kim for all that you did for our family. We had a great time and appreciate your recommendation of this hotel. It was great! Kindly, Sharon
