Hello! 

We absolutely loved the area and resort! We have already been recommending it to others! The scenery was breathtaking and all the staff were so friendly. One of our favorite things was the buffet at the market cafe! We went there almost every day. The preferred club was nice but honestly we kept going to the other side where it seemed that more people were at. We hung out at the preferred club pool area maybe once. 

We did leave the resort a few times for excursions. We did the scape park, Saona island, and swimming with dolphins! We always were excited to get back to the resort though. 

Thank you so much for helping with everything that made this trip so enjoyable. We hardly had any issues which was amazing!

The trip was great.  The suite was beautiful and they did recognize our anniversary. We loved the room service delivery with the hidden door!  No complaints at all,  The view from our room was fantastic – loved the upper floor.
 
The transfers were great – clean, on time, comfortable.  I waited too long to book the expedited customs – big mistake – so they were “sold out”.
 
Overall we had a great time.  I would highly recommend the resort and your services.  You were very helpful, especially on the short notice and with our specific requirements.

Hey Dave,

Cap Cana was great! We made it safe and sound no issues at all! Felt safe the whole time! The resort was beautiful and the beach was very pretty! The food was up to par with the others we’ve been too. Our favorite was the Italian! One thing we definitely noticed pretty fast is how friendly the staff was compared to our Mexico trips. They go above and beyond! You have to hang out at the lobby bar at night with Jean and Carlos! They are hilarious! We didn’t do any excursions this time but everyone we talked to loved the monkey excursion, so that would be something to recommend!

The only thing that I would have liked to see was a little more night life. Most people were packed up by 10 and the desire club was a ghost town the entire time we were there. We didn’t mine but we loved the desire club at Secrets Playa Mujeres!

Thank you so much for recommending and setting up our trip to Secrets Cap Cana! Everything was beyond expectations and we had a wonderful time. The staff were all very friendly and made sure our every need was taken care of.

Our favorite activity was relaxing on the beach. The staff made sure you always had a bucket of ice cold bottled water and any other drink you desired. The beach was one of the prettiest beaches we’ve seen. We kayaked and paddle boarded multiple times and had a blast. The water was extremely calm and clear. The pool was also amazing and huge. There was always activities to keep us entertained.

The food was very good! We were hesitant at first from reading reviews about poor quality food in the Dominican Republic, however we were very satisfied with the food at Secrets.

Overall this trip was one of the best vacations (Early Anniversary) we took. It was so relaxing and we loved every minute. We had no issues at all with our travel plans and you guys did a great job informing us and taking care of everything!

Hey Kim! 
Thanks for the follow up. Chad and I had a blast and enjoyed the resort. Our favorite day was 4th of July. The resort had a main lawn cookout for lunch, brought in a Statue of Liberty in the center of the pool, a live DJ in the pool during the day, a live band at night, followed by a circus show, and ending the night with  DJ, dancing, and a huge firework show!

We did go on an excursion to the Saona Island. It was AWESOME, so great that we came back and convinced 2 other couples to go! It was a full day excision on a catamaran. It included, tour bus transportation, snorkeling, visiting the natural “pool” (3-4 ft deep water in the middle of the ocean), lunch (grilled lobster, mahi-mahi, chicken, pork chops, and traditional Dominican side dishes), we had 2 hours on the island...It was beautiful!!!

Hey Kim and Love to Travel Crew,

We had a WONDERFUL time on or honeymoon at Secrets!  The preferred club beach was beautiful and it was nice to have an additional place for lunch options We've talked and if we did it again, I think we would choose a room with a swim out pool over the preferred club. Overall, the resort is stunning, the food was great, and the spa service was AMAZING.  

​We did one excursion, the Happy Hour "Cruise". We enjoyed it a lot. It was only half a day, we snorkeled, went to the natural pool, and had an open bar available. We would recommend it! We were going to do the all day catamaran, but didn't know if we could be on a boat in the sun that long. So this was a great middle ground.

We truly had a fantastic time. Thank you all so much for the constant advice and guidance while we planned. I have attached a few pictures. Thank you all again!

Hi Dave.

Thank you very much for all you did to make this an amazing experience!  The wedding was perfect and the honeymoon couldn't have been better!!

What were your favorite things?  

Our favorite things were (in no particular order):

• -Our room!  I think it was the best of the best for location and view.
• -The staff...we honestly felt as though we were among family from the moment we arrived.  There is friendly and there is is nice.  We met so many that were both friendly and nice
• -The food was great!  Enjoyed all the restaurants and the VIP access bar food was good.
• -VIP access area, pool and bar were great.
• -Believe it or not, we did exercise (real workout) and the gym was great.  One day we had it all to ourselves and had a fun workout (hope there were no camera!  Hey, we were on honeymoon).
• -Jonathan, our host got us involved with an exclusive blindfold dinner and it was cool!

Kim & Dave,

We absolutely LOVED our trip to DR. The resort was AMAZING, impeccable, and staff was very friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone! Our favorite things about the resort was the preferred club area, that was nice to have another option pool wise to hang out in if we didn't want the noise of the big pool. We did zip-lining and played golf while we were out there. We golfed at La Cana, which was only 10 minuets away from the resort and we Zip-lined with Scape Park also only 10-15 minuets away from the resort. We loved how central the resort was to the excursions, not having to travel hours away and back from the resort was great. Highly recommend both excursions.

Thanks again for another GREAT trip! Cannot wait to plan another trip with you guys!

Hello!! I will definitely send some pictures your way! We absolutely LOVED the entire trip. The resort was amazing. One of our favorite things about it was the people of the Dominican. We also LOVED the food- especially at the preferred club restaurants!!! We did the zipline/blue hole excursion and we would definitely recommend. Overall it was a wonderful trip and we really hope to go back to the exact same place!! I also love that the resort was pretty quiet and relaxed. It never felt overcrowded. It was pure bliss and paradise.
