Evan & Ruchi
Sandals South Coast
5/25/19
We met 10 years ago while I was still in high school and we've been together ever since. It's about time we got married!
Destination & Resort:
Sandals South Coast - Whitehouse, Jamaica
Number of guests:
30
Ceremony location:
Over The Water Chapel
Reception Location:
Originally in the garden
moved into their banquet hall due to weather.
Wedding Package:
We customized a package with our wedding planner Anthony!
Wedding colors:
Primarily white and gold. Pops of maroon and mauve.
Photographer:
We brought our own photographer and videographer.
Jessika Christine Photography for video & Mallard Photography for photos.
Favorite Wedding Memory:
Evan & I's first look was both our favorite memory.
It was just the two of us in the private Red Lane Spa garden and our videographer and photographer captured the entire moment.
Honeymoon Location & Resort:
We stayed in the over water bungalows at the resort.
Favorite thing about the Resort:
Everything!
Seriously, the people are amazing, the food is amazing, the bungalows were amazing, the wedding planners Anthony and LaToya were the absolute best! I don't know what I would have done without them.
Excursions:
We did the West Coast Adventure, the ATV's was the most amazing experience of our lives. The zip-lining was a ton of fun for all of us! We probably could've done without the safari tour, but it was still interesting!
Why did you choose to partner with Love to Travel for your destination wedding:
Love To Travel originally came up on a google search I did and I am so thankful they did. They made the entire process so much easier! They got me in contact with the wedding planner for the resort, kept up with me throughout the entire process to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything or needed anything, and all my guests loved them!
Advice to other wedding couples:
It's a destination wedding, don't go overboard with the decor items like we did. I promise when the time comes, you won't be paying attention to all the expensive floral arrangements you picked out. Every one of your guests will just be happy to be at a beautiful resort with you and the scenery in itself is enough. Also, the florals are incredibly expensive - so make sure you really want them because you can't bring them back with you!
