We had a great time in the Dominican and Dreams La Romana resort.  We did not do an excursions as we felt they were going to be just like be at the resort, so why leave.
 
The resort itself was very nice and beautifully maintained.  With all of the pools and beach it was never an issue in find a place set relax and have a drink.  We found all of the restaurants very good and never had a long wait to get seated.  Also the rooms were very nice.  I do believe the preferred club is the way to go as you do gain some nice amenities.
 
Thanks again for the suggestion of place to stay as we truly enjoyed this one and all other efforts in making our vacation wonderful.

Hi!

​The property itself was stunning and well kept and the staff was extremely friendly. The food was great and it seemed like Seaside Grill, Olio and the Jungle Restaurant were all favorites amongst ourselves and wedding guests. 

Our wedding and reception turned out to be absolutely fabulous and myself, Drew and all our wedding guests had the best time! We really did receive so many compliments about our choice in the resort and our wedding itself and in some of the pictures you can even see other resort guests sitting and watching our wedding festivities from a distance.

We were able to get out and explore a little bit. Drew, myself and two other of our wedding guests went zip lining and in all of our opinions it was the best zip lining experience we've ever had! The tour guides were wonderful, helpful and friendly. We did book through Amstar and it put us with a company called Dominican Republic Ziplines Adventures. One of our family members were able to go out on a an all day Catamaran excursion that included snorkeling and they really enjoyed that as well.

We also had a number of wedding guests wander down the beach from the resort to the public side where there were some local vendors and everyone that went had a blast exploring.
